June Wrap-Up

June Wrap-Up

In Which I Have Prospects

Happy summer, dear readers!

It’s been roasting here, which is great for my peppers, confusing for my tomatoes, and absolutely delightful for the mysterious critter digging up my carrots every other day. So naturally, I’ve spent the month indoors, editing a book set in the dead of winter.

Let’s begin with the most exciting news:

📍 Two Million Pages Read!

Remember when we celebrated one million pages just last month? Well, you doubled it. That’s two million pages read on Kindle Unlimited, in just one month. And it's not just because you've read the books. It's because you're talking about them, on Reddit and in the real world. You're asking for them in your local bookstore and requesting them through your libraries.

That's what makes the dream possible for an indie author like me. I write the best books I can and make them as beautiful as possible, and then I hand them to you and hope for the best. Much love to all of you for your time and support in every way you give it.

💻 A Very Significant Negotiation

Something big may be on the horizon. We are not Officially Official yet, but there is a good chance that Empire of the Stars may soon be appearing in a new format.

Negotiations are still underway, but the prospects are looking very good.

📚 Illustrated Editions Now Available!

Traitor Son and Stardust Child have gotten a glow-up! New typography, interior illustrations, and polished formatting across paperback, hardcover, and ebook editions are live now on Amazon.

If you already own the ebook, I’ve asked Amazon to push the update to your Kindle. They don’t always say yes, but I’m hopeful. 🤞

If you’ve been eyeing the new print editions, now’s the moment—they’re live, beautiful, and the new standard for the series.

🌺 Website Updates!

I always try to have something new on the website for you, and this month includes a teaser for a card game Ophele learns in Book Four.

Go poke around! You might be surprised what you find.

And that wraps up a very busy June. For all the Americans, enjoy the fireworks! For everyone else, may your summer be mild, your varmints benevolent, and your negotiations fruitful.

It was such a tangle of history. It had twisted all of their lives, but no one more than Remin and Juste, who still did not know why their families had been executed.
